MyMeditations ("MyMeditations," "we," "us," or "our") is a service owned and operated by Ingage Digital Media.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you access or use the MyMeditations website, app, platform, beta service, and related features and services (collectively, the "Service").
It also explains privacy choices and rights that may be available to you under applicable law.
By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through MyMeditations, including when you:
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, platforms, or services that operate independently from MyMeditations and are governed by their own privacy policies.
MyMeditations may make some or all of the Service available on a beta, pilot, test, preview, early-access, or other pre-release basis ("Beta Service").
During the beta period, we may collect information specifically related to testing and improving the Service, including:

The Beta Service may currently be provided without charge. If no payment is required during the beta period, we do not collect payment information from you solely for participation in the free beta.
If we later introduce paid subscriptions, purchases, or other paid features, the payment provisions of this Privacy Policy will apply to those transactions.
The information we collect depends on how you use the Service.
We may collect information such as:
We collect content that you choose to create, upload, record, store, or submit through the Service ("User Content"), which may include:
User Content may contain personal or sensitive information that you voluntarily choose to include.
You should use care when including private or highly sensitive information in meditation scripts, recordings, or other User Content.
Because MyMeditations allows you to record or upload audio, we may collect and store voice recordings and other audio content that you voluntarily provide.
We use this audio to provide the features you request, such as creating, processing, storing, streaming, and sharing meditation audio.
We do not use your voice recordings for biometric identification or authentication.
We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including:
We may collect technical information such as:
If you contact us or participate in beta testing, we may collect:
The Beta Service may currently be offered without charge.
If we later offer paid subscriptions, creation packages, usage-based services, or other purchases, we may collect information relating to those transactions, including:
Payment card information may be collected and processed directly by a third-party payment processor rather than stored directly by MyMeditations.
We may derive limited information from your activity, such as:
We do not use the substance of your private meditation content to create advertising profiles.
We may collect personal information:
We may use personal information to:
Meditation content can be personal.
A meditation script, voice recording, or meditation track may contain information about your thoughts, experiences, health concerns, relationships, beliefs, emotions, or other matters that you choose to include.
We process private User Content primarily to provide the functionality you request, including creating, processing, storing, streaming, and delivering your meditation content.
We do not use the substance of your private meditation scripts, private voice recordings, or private meditation audio for advertising.
MyMeditations does not use your private meditation scripts, voice recordings, or meditation audio to train generalized artificial intelligence models.
We may use technical information associated with content, such as file format, file size, processing status, duration, error information, or similar operational data, to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
If we materially change how private User Content is used, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional notice or consent required by applicable law.
Certain information you voluntarily include in User Content may qualify as sensitive personal information under applicable law. We do not require you to provide health information, religious information, sexual information, or other highly sensitive personal information in order to use ordinary meditation features.
We do not disclose personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted by law.
We may provide personal information to companies that perform services for us or help operate MyMeditations, including providers of:
These providers may receive information reasonably necessary to perform their services for us.
If you choose to share a meditation or other User Content with another user through the Service, the content and associated information necessary for sharing may be made available to the recipient.
You control whether to use sharing features when those features are available.
We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, consultants, financial advisors, and other professional advisors when reasonably necessary.
Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with an actual or proposed:
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
We may disclose information when you request, authorize, or direct us to do so.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Based on our current practices, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California privacy law.
We do not use private meditation scripts, private voice recordings, or private meditation audio for targeted advertising.
We do not currently disclose personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes.
If these practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices, choices, opt-out mechanisms, or other rights required by applicable law.
We may use cookies, local storage, log files, SDKs, or similar technologies to:
We may also use service providers to assist with analytics, diagnostics, hosting, security, and performance measurement.
We do not currently use advertising technologies for the purpose of tracking beta testers across unrelated websites or services for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You may be able to control certain cookies or similar technologies through your browser or device settings. Blocking certain technologies may cause portions of the Service to function incorrectly.
Some browsers provide "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no uniform industry standard governing traditional Do Not Track signals, the Service does not currently respond to traditional browser Do Not Track signals in a standardized manner.
California law separately recognizes certain browser or device-based privacy preference signals for businesses that sell or share personal information.
Because MyMeditations does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, an opt-out of those practices is not currently necessary.
If our practices change in a manner that makes such rights applicable, we will honor legally required privacy preference signals and provide appropriate opt-out mechanisms.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to:
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it is needed.
During beta testing, data, accounts, settings, or User Content may occasionally need to be migrated, reset, deleted, or reprocessed as part of testing or development.
If you delete content or close your account, some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, security records, or other systems until it is deleted through our normal retention processes or retained where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
You should maintain your own copy of User Content that is important to you, particularly during beta testing.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, destruction, or disclosure.
These measures may include access controls, technical safeguards, security monitoring, and security practices appropriate to the nature of the information and the Service.
However, no internet transmission, computer system, storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
The MyMeditations Beta Service is intended for individuals age 18 and older.
We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create or use a Beta Service account unless we have expressly established a separate program or feature permitting such use with appropriate authorization.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of applicable law.
If you believe that an individual under the permitted age has created an account or provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us at support@mymeditations.app. We will review the situation and take appropriate action.
If MyMeditations later introduces services specifically designed for minors, families, schools, or supervised users, we may provide additional privacy notices and consent procedures appropriate to those services.
California residents may have privacy rights under California law.
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, or another applicable California privacy law applies to MyMeditations and to the personal information involved, rights may include, subject to applicable exceptions:
MyMeditations does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We also do not currently use sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to provide a separate right to limit its use under California law.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at:
Please describe the request and provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the account or information involved.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
We may deny or limit a request where permitted or required by applicable law, including when we cannot reasonably verify the identity of the requester.
Where a statutory privacy right does not apply to us, we may nevertheless attempt to accommodate reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete account information where technically and operationally feasible.
Where applicable law provides the right to use an authorized agent, we may require appropriate verification of the agent's authority and, where permitted, verification of the consumer's identity.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
You may be able to review or update certain account information through your account settings.
You may also contact us at support@mymeditations.app to request assistance with reviewing, correcting, or updating account information.
The ability to modify certain information may depend on the type of information involved and the functionality available during the beta period.
We may use your contact information to send communications concerning:
If we send marketing or promotional communications, we will provide applicable opt-out options and comply with applicable law.
Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional, security, account, or service-related messages.
MyMeditations is operated from the United States.
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or in other jurisdictions in which our service providers operate.
Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws of your location.
The availability of the Service in a particular location does not necessarily mean that MyMeditations is intended or offered for use in every jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:
